    Pisanie artykułu o tym jak się ustrzec przed kryptografią metalowej rury albo oddaniem telefonu znajomemu, który jest podwójnym agentem, jest fajnym fantazjowaniem ale nic nie wnosi w życie ogromnej większości ludzi. Ok, zakupy przyszły! Miłej niedzieli!

    "Aplikacja nie będzie działać na urządzeniu z root" - takie ogólne stwierdzenie jest po prostu nieprawdziwe. Istnieje tyle sposobów ukrycia faktu zrootowania urządzenia, że nie ma metody 100% wykrycia roota...

    Kradzież urządzenia nie oznacza znajomości hasła do tego urządzenia. Zablokowany telefon z Androidem nie pozwala na "nadpisanie plików systemowych". Właściwie nawet odblokowany na to nie pozwala ze względu na Verified Boot i partycję systemową zamontowaną read only

    Kolejny bardzo niskiej jakości artykuł pokazujący jak bardzo trzeba się namachać rękoma, żeby napisać coś pod tezę. Czekam na zakupy, to napiszę co jest bardzo źle w tym artykule. Niestety jest tak dużo złych tez, że nie mogę pisać wyczerpująco tylko aż mi się znudzi... 1/

    It was a job in a completely different city and they never even told me the salary or benefits (or that I got it!). HR on the phone also didn't know how much I'll be making or what type of a contract it'll be. I politely declined.

    They asked me to explain the difference between symmetric and asymmetric encryption, which I did. I thought I bombed the interview. Month later(!) their HR department calls me out of the blue to ask for my social security number "before you come to work on Monday."

    Big room with a round table (picture the UN). Six people sitting around it and me on the opposite side. It was for a generic security position. They kept asking me questions about Oracle DB admin. I didn't answer a single one. Last question was actually about security 1/...

    I highly recommend you give this thread 👇a read (scroll up to the first tweet). I was working with Maddie on the same team and I don't think that our hard work is presented in this Privacy International article by in a fair, accurate or helpful way.

    I’m also impressed Google not only allowed, but supported me in presenting all of this information so transparently. I’d like to encourage this type of transparency from vendors so that they keep doing it. 7/7
