Because both types of thinkers are aware of and describe the same process, they're talking about the same thing which is the acceleration of technocapital. Deceleration thinks it's bad (correct) and acc the opposite.

This is also why I encourage people to read baudrillard, because of his detailed and insightful map of modernity qua simulation. Decel is probably the most noteworthy development in primitivist thought in a long time bc of this. Think of it as elaborately "knowing thy enemy."
