Mom had polio as a kid and lost they use of her legs at 5 years old. She fought cancer for two decades. I can't remember a single time she complained. Wish I had that kind of strength. None of that ever stopped her from doing what she wanted.

She was a teacher in my hometown and tonight I probably met a hundred of her students. You going to any of your old teachers funerals? Thats just how she was. She was badass. She won the state college women's ping pong championship in the seventies - on crutches.

Don't know if there's a heaven but one probably came into existence for her.
