What kind of monster bandsaw was that?

-
It's an older one with insufficient guarding that I've warned about so many times. It was a fatty leather glove.
-
Horizontal or vertical? Never heard of anything getting stuck in a bandsaw before. Perhaps a large one for wood with big mean teeth. Sounds terrible, probably shouldnt wear gloves right?
-
Vertical. One of the issues is the old ass dulled blade that probaby hasn't been changed in years. Caught his glove and ran his hand down to the table and spun it around at which point it got hung up in his watchband and and came off the runners. Cut him up real nice.
-
Hopefully your boss sorts that shit out. Guy probably learned a lesson too...
-
Yeah you really don't want gloves or anything loose caught like that. It wasn't one of my guys thankfully. Different contractor.

Last monday night shift a guy who threw away paper boxes got caught in the compactor. (This same model) Luckily it has been emptied during the day so he rolled into the container box and dogded the press, if he did this 5 hours earlier when it was full he would have died.pic.twitter.com/HMqOGFWT0w

Holy shit, I'm using this in my next safety meeting. Any other details about how it happened and what kinda site it's at? (Nothing doxy).
