If you hate your office job i can guarantee that you can quit and find an "easy and satisfying" manual labor job pretty quick. Still a high need for framers, landscapers, etc. But you won't do it because you know how good you've really got it.

you get the double whammy of mental exhaustion from fixing peoples mistakes and figuring out proper construction techniques and the physical exhaustion of working in 100 degree weather. landscape construction this summer was brutal and i am glad i get back to forestry soon.

Ive spent a stupid amount of time in 100 percent humidity up next to 2000 degree seven story coal fired boilers. Its insane. It's even more insane that you get acclimated.

Somehow no, just cramps and exhaustion only stroked out once. They do let you cool off most of the time.
