So yea, even at the height of a domestic crisis-civil war, you'll muster what, 10,000 internet troops, max? Haha, good luck! And do tell: who are "your people", and where do you plan on living?

Personally, I have a remote lake house that's fully prepped and suststainsble. I understand that a neo luddite revolution is not likely. But it doesn't make any less right. Industrial society has 48 years at best due to ocean conditions, probably much less time.

By my people I mean my extended family and those of my friends and coethnics. Part of our praxis is being ready to take advantage of any number of possible and impending possible collapses, or to slowly transition into exit per J.M. Greer.

Never heard of "G.M Greer" im afraid, by "co-ethnics" whom do you mean? Scandis, Germans, Slavs, Italians, Africans, Brits, Indians,..? And what will all the other ethnicities do while you & your extended family chill on the prairie, & why would they want or allow you to do so?

I mean white qua american whiteness. Idk what they'll do, but the projections from the studied the government contractors did are ~80% death for everyone regardless. I guess if they want to hunt me down post collapse they can try but I'd be more concerned with water and food.

The government has contracted researchers a few different times to prepare for things like attacks on the power grid etc and done estimates and modeling of the damage and casusalties. Any large scale event will be very bad in this regard. More likely than commonly assumed.

The biggest issue being the centralization of food production combining with the loss of functionality of shipping logistics leaves about a 2 day supply of food and water. In urban areas this will escalate to chaos and death very quickly.

Yea, so im left wondering why you think this would make your petty-booj prairie fantasy any more likely to happen?

Well I'm ready for it. It's already set up. I have the skills I need and so does most of the family. I practice bushcraft/permaculture etc often. I can orienteer. We've a whole protocol for what governs our relocation etc. Should be moving out there full time with it 5 years.
