anyone who is broadly a neo luddite. I want everyone that can to fight technocapital because if we don't, we die to ecocatastrope. Post-left, green anarchists, etc. The movement against technocapital should be focused. After that, yes I'd like to live traditionally with my people

But you do realise this is all thoroughly petty bourgeois, narrow minded, ahistorical & individualist, & wholly rests on some imagined catastrophe that will destroy the population, so, when you or say your grandkids get ill, who will treat you?
-
My wife is an herbalist and has done some pretty amazing stuff in that regard and natural antibiotics are readily avaliable in my area. We'll do the best we can. Anecdotally, I was able to treat my herniated disk myself better than anyone I saw for it.

Let me know how you get on the prairie when you get cancer.. Or any number of degenerative diseases only treatable by the 'magic' of modern human industry.
-
I don't have a problem dying following what is right, especially when there isn't another option. The "magic" of modern medicine is basically only good for curing what it causes. Ever had a dying family member trapped in it? It's hell.
-
Yea, idc really, its not about you, or me, its about the whole of humanity, thats what we fight for, whereas you only fight for yourselves (which is itself a tautology as there is no self without the other), and that's why you'll fail.
-
As I said before, I want I see as best for humanity and human flourishing. I just have a special care and stake in the future of my folks.
-
Sorry but they'll live shorter & shorter tortuous lives & die a miserable death without socialism, this is assured.
-
So do a preindustial socialism then. What made preindustial health so bad was the lack of the germ theory of disease. We have that now. Our lives now are tortuous, even for the average person who has more comfort than Caesar did. 3x life expectancy and meaning gone is awful.
