    Suggestion that immunity derived from catching Covid19 does not last long.

    "COVID reinfections likely within one or two years, models propose". There's no natural immunity, folks (herd or otherwise). Without masking and vax, your immunity after COVID declines rapidly.

    This anecdote helps me know Denmark a little better. Or at least the Denmark my grandparents came from.

    This recollection by physicist Victor Weisskopf illustrates Niels Bohr's amazing personality and influence better than any other I know; he was probably Denmark's most beloved and respected citizen for a time.

    NZ delta outbreak definately trending up again. Looks like Auckland's Level 3 is insufficiently strict to hold Covid constant, let alone eliminate. (Excuse my extention of August.)

    Nice anecdote.

    Sometimes small things do the trick. One of Mum’s friends was adamant she wasn’t getting the vaccine. Her medical kids made the consequences clear and tried to persuade without luck. Then her hairdresser of 10+ years refused to cut her hair. Vacc’d the next day. 🤷‍♂️
