    Ross leaves us this week!Chairman Iain Robertson wished him well yesterday and we even managed to snap many of the team in the sun. Ross has been an invaluable employee over the last decade & fundamental to the building of the new slipway carriage. Well done Ross!

    Volunteer engineer John working on the paddles - burning off the nut on the Jenny Nettles. Each paddle, or float, is on a pivot and its position is determined by a rod connected to a large bearing which is fixed to the paddlebox springbeam off centre to the wheel itself.
