    tip of the day: when designing ui, never have it popup questions after a command call. just do whatever, make backup or such. then, print a message afterward.

    I have just released Ghub v3.3.0. It's mostly just a bug fix release but because it works around a nasty Emacs bug its pretty important anyway. 🥱🥳

    is more like playing organ: an ancient (meta-)instrument, the source of (many) ideas, requiring some knowledge (of the underlying machinery (but so fun to play with (when you overcome your fear of idiomatic constraints))). No surprise people are a bit religious about it.

    How does one get Mu4e to open text attachments in the current Emacs instance (i.e. using emacsclient instead of emacs). This appears to involve xdg-open, which comes with a see of accidental complexity. Is there a "lets treat it as a blackbox and be done with it way"?

    Does anyone here understand Tex enough to change some numbers so that a refcard can be printed on piece of paper with an unusual size? If you like Magit then that's how you could make a contribution.

    Hello ! Could you please spare five minutes of you time to merge the following five exceptionally trivial and obviously correct pull-requests? In each case spelling error "as published byn" => "... by" in the permission statement gets corrected. 1.

    And I'm all over it. Damn, non-emacsen prob. hate me. I don't care - Magit is the best, those who don't agree just haven't tried it. There's no other explanation.
