I'm not sure why anyone is really surprised about this. It's of course, indefensible, but those individuals who choose to go into law enforcement tend to be on the right to begin with. The nature of the work seems to appeal to them.
One does not need to be surprised in order to be appalled by it and to declare it unjust.
The @FBI warned us - repeatedly & in no uncertain terms - re the clear & present danger burgeoning far-right extremism presented to this nation. The GOP - as some of them did even yesterday as armed MAGA insurrectionists attacked our Capital - blamed “Antifa” instead of acting.
