But he is not putting out statements about the “audits” in states just for the sake of it. He’s been laser focused on them, according to several people who’ve spoken with him (as well as WaPo reporting a few weeks ago).

He knows he will not be reinstated in August. He wants to throw out these bread crumbs to keep his base engaged. There is a ton of money to be made when the base is angry/energized/motivated. There is no money to be made once the base realizes he is never becoming pres again.
