    Odd unless you consider Trump’s need to hear superlatives that set him apart ...

    Kavanaugh made extremely odd claim: "No president has ever consulted more widely, or talked with more people from more backgrounds, to seek input about a [SCOTUS] nomination." There've been ~160 previous nominees -- and selection process isn't generally matter of public record.

    Because of Kavanaugh’s extensive paper trail, and long record, moving his nomination quickly could be challenging, Rs and Ds say. Also it reopens Bush-era controversies like torture, as well as Roe and pre-existing conditions under ACA, Dems say.

    UPDATE: Palm Beach County's jobs agency says they've been told 's Mar-a-Lago Club is asking to hire *78* foreign guest workers this year, including cooks, waiters and 17 housekeepers. US Dept. of Labor hasn't posted the application for foreign housekeepers yet.

    UPDATED; 's Mar-a-Lago Club is asking permission to hire *61* foreign workers, to serve as cooks and waiters this winter. Says it can't find qualified American workers for these jobs (at least at the salary Trump is offering).
