A hugely important read in the current age. I don't think a mass boycott of social media is feasible or the right answer anyway. The question is - how do we make it a force for good & mitigate its more insidious effects on society & human psychology, especially for young people?

Here in we only shoot Mountain Hares with cameras, not guns. That's because, despite having thousands of acres of upland hills, we don't have any driven grouse shooting. No grouse moors means no blameless hares being persecuted. Happy Easter, 🐇

The point is not the number of jobs which may or may not be lost to automation it is the changing face of the workplace and preparing for it as well as the polarisation of available jobs. This can be a great opportunity if we match training and skills.

Dad’s eldest brother Donny in his RAF uniform World War 2 - a favourite uncle. Teased me endlessly often quoting “The Betrothed” by Rudyard Kipling where a “Maggie” loses out when compared to a love of Cuban cigars. All in jest because he knew it made me instantly mad 😉
