Would adding a IsString instance help the `var “foo”` become “foo”?

I’m already using IsString instance for the string literals, so using it for var as well would make it ambiguous as both literals and variables are terms and can appear in the same places.

I like it. Yes looks more traditional, and tuples go up to 62 (https://github.com/ghc/ghc/blob/master/libraries/ghc-prim/GHC/Tuple.hs …) so I guess you are probably okay for scaling...
