Wow! Haters with supersonic hearing are gonna hate.
But I agree... -
The message of the article is true, but that’s not what this update to Apple Music is going to do, it’s just going to slightly increase bit rates, which frankly is necessary because of how bad they currently are compared to even a CD

I can very much tell the difference in albums played in my car from the original CD be Apple Music or Spotify. Don’t know of this supposed HiFi tier will be CD quality or not but I can’t believe folks can tell any difference in the two.
-
This was a mess of typos. I'm saying I *can* hear the difference in the original CD and the Apple Music or Spotify versions. Whether this HiFi tier is full CD quality I don't know but if people can't hear a difference in the CD vs the streaming services, they're deaf.

Macworld, you’re gonna need Kevlar, but you’re right.

Meh… it’s a bit of both. It doesn’t really matter to me when listening in the car (although some podcasts are still jarringly bad). But at home in the comfy chair, I like my cymbals to actually sound like they have a range

-
At least in my opinion, it’s not about Apple Music using hire bitrates or whatever, I just want iPhones to support a better codec than ACC, that would be nice
