    Apple is giving us a sneak peek. The new iOS apps that are coming to macOS (Home, Apple News, Voice Memos) are step one of this project. Next year, devs will be able to bring their iOS apps to the Mac using this same technique.

    It’s called CreateML. Devs can train an AI model on 20,000 photos in less than an hour on a MacBook Pro, as an example. Apple is also introducing Core ML 2, which is 30% faster at on device processing + 75% reduction in model size.

    Office 365 from Microsoft is coming to the Mac App Store later this year. Adobe is introducing Lightroom CC for the Mac App Store, Panic is introducing a new Mac App Store Transmit app, and there’s a new Bbedit Mac App Store app coming.

    Product pages for Mac apps have been redesigned, with ratings and reviews front and center. There’s a new ratings and review API for Mac apps to make it easier for people to leave feedback.
