I’ve seen a good degree of complaining recently that everything is pvp, new entrants have no chance compared to 2021, etc. When the market is not on easy mode, if you can’t articulate what your edge is, who’s paying you and why, you should probably take a break.

curious by prop crypto, do you mean hft mm/arb on CExes?
Any kind of obvious/east to implement systematic strategy (on cexes mainly)

I do hear lots of discussions about how hft stuffs becoming much tougher. However, longer holding period/less liquid statarb stuffs seem to be ok till now. Probably because the capacity is small/return has higher vol so less appealing
