The parts you actually need: 1) get a theo from the current state of the market 2) quote and hit around the theo for credit 3) adjust your theo based on your position 4) for extra credit, try to guess what your market theo will be 5 minutes in the future and trade using that

reality: 1) calculate theo/fair value 2) turn on system 3) panic as flow is one directional and you put on positions 4) turn 5 minute projections into 24 hr projections and rebrand as stat arb. Extend projections until sufficient copium is achieved
