I do think that investors owning single stocks is generally a bad idea though. Stick to sector/thematic ETFs most of the time, only exceptions are mega caps that are so huge they are effectively an entire sector unto themselves.

Irrelevant — there are more stock indices in the US than there are stocks, eventually they will all have an ETF and all single stock exposures will be replicable by an appropriate linear combination of passive ETFs anyway.https://twitter.com/business/status/1492302481501655042 …
