      Not unreasonable to want to regulate away wash trading, mnpi, corruption and fraud. But does seem incompatible with crypto as we know it today.

      Oh I agree—I'm definitely not saying "yeah wave it through what could possibly go wrong", the SEC is right to say no if they're concerned about the state of the cash markets

      It is a little odd, if these are their objections, that they are fine with an ETF holding derivatives whose underlier is the corrupt, manipulated spot market.
