Daylight savings time as a concept is fine I guess, what is insane is that London and New York both do it, but at slightly different times of year.

Even worse is that Southern Hemisphere countries also do it in the opposite direction and on yet another schedule.

They change time in the opposite direction. Makes sense after a hot second, but having never heard that before my mind was blown

Daylight savings is just plain stupid really. Historically there was a lot of opposition which is why certain counties in IN and the state of AZ said no.
