Cute fact about the Zillow thing is that even if Zillow's model was more accurate than local agent valuations, local agents/property owners can still win on average because they get to choose which houses to buy/sell.

Do we know if the Zillow algorithm was doing some form of auto-initiating buys/sells, or providing to a human a ranked list of ‘opportunities’?
I'm sure all offers went through a human so I guess it depends (a) how smart that human was (b) how much they were encouraged to "just follow the algorithm"
