Need to do this more. A 750 is too much for one evening.
If you keep some empty 375s around you can drink half a 750 and then decant, in theory it would last even longer.

This is the way I've been rolling for years. You can get swing top 250mL bottles to split a 750 into thirds also. Using a clip on funnel and a carefully tilted decant, you'd be surprised how well and long they keep fresh in the fridge. All wines, not just dessert wines. Cheers
