I think the people giving this guy a hard time don’t understand that high income earners in Manhattan tend to work insane hours, leaving little time for their families/children… and so they try to compensate with $. Try to give their kids/ families semblance of a normal lifehttps://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1444460641327194114 …

Molson Hart @Molson_HartSo on first glance this looks totally extravagant but it’s not actually. Yeah sure one could move farther out and pay less but if you want to live in Manhattan with a kid and have two working parents you kinda need a 3br and 24/7 help right? Of course one could get out of NYC tooShow this thread2 replies 0 retweets 12 likesShow this thread -
They get outraged at the spending amounts - OMG WTF NANNIES - but have no clue how the incomes supporting that spending is generated.

Replying to @LongShortTrader
If I was that family I would simply get a job that paid a similar amount but didn’t require 100hr weeks.

I do know people who outsource almost all childcare to nannies (including weekends) ostensibly because their jobs are so full on, but in most cases imo it’s because they don’t really like their kids or spouse and would prefer to be at work.
