Not Twitter.
If I want to put some writing on the internet (with some pictures and equations) what’s the best way to do that? I don’t care about subscriptions or analytics or anything like that, I just want something flexible and easy to use.

Most people I know still seem to use WordPress. Prob the simplest (though I think there's a minimal annual fee)

a free substack or revue, a blogspot site, or .wordpress site. Those are all very simple and free

if you want your own site then go buy a domain and throw up a Wordpress site.
