I get the feeling a lot of people I normally agree with are really against opening things up in the UK. Surely the point of the vaccine rollout was that we can go to restaurants and bars again, go clubbing, stop wearing masks everywhere? If not now, when?

I wouldn't feel as confident as that - there may be a burst related to clubs opening, but broadly agree that I've been surprised at the levels of opposition to the strategy generally
