I get the feeling a lot of people I normally agree with are really against opening things up in the UK. Surely the point of the vaccine rollout was that we can go to restaurants and bars again, go clubbing, stop wearing masks everywhere? If not now, when?

(c) based on today’s data, and the fact that schools are on holiday I feel ~90% confident in calling it — the number of new cases has peaked and it’s going to keep declining at least until early Sep.
