Thank you for sharing! I was curious, but skeptical because of leg risk and exchange risk. At a pre-tax ~1.25% advantage over holding the S&P 500 over the same period, the only advantage seems that this was decorrelated. Time, effort, risks, and higher taxes were disadvantages.
With hindsight sure. Forward looking, it was not at all obvious that the S&P 500 would return +8% over those three months. A reasonable distribution of returns might have been -13% to +17% whereas here I was pretty sure I would get between +5% and +7.5%

The Fed put makes the -13% unreasonable, but that's a fair point on decorrelation/hindsight (but goes both ways
). Also, how did you judge the liquidity would continue in such strange environments as DOGEUSD? Maybe you didn't do that as much for this reason. Thank you again.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
