Same goes in the end with french grandes ecoles and in a sense it’s not that bad. Esp as it’s hard to game the system then (some who goes to ulm is really smart, and private tutoring wont get you there). More can be done to push people into that system from more diverse bground.

The French system is a lot less predicated on money. Your home address (which public school you go to) and whether your parents are teachers/academics play maybe too much of a role, but that’s less of an issue imo. Theoretically, just opening more places could solve it.
