very similar to my experience. Since you're not from the US, did you do something to hedge FX exposure (as all the contracts are USD). i made about 6% but lost about 4 on EUR/USD in the same timeframe. Not great
I hedged the USD exposure with interactive brokers, although in the end I didn’t really need to as GBPUSD more or less round tripped over the period
