You take the Twitter account. Use that account to start ten other accounts. Eventually, tweeting between yourself will raise the value of all 11 accounts to the point that you can now open 100 accounts. Pretty soon, the entire world is just Twitter accounts.

Are there common monetization opportunities when followers reach 10k, 100k? Or are the benefits at higher follower levels still intangible 'network' sort of things. Trying to figure out some long term goals w this acct

I have no idea because I have never tried to monetise my followers, but you can google “sell my twitter account” to get an idea of what people will pay (around $500 per 5k followers seems to be the going rate, more if the account has a history of good posts, or high engagement)

Not sure about Twitter but have heard stories of influencers being able to monetize Instagram accounts with 250k followers into 7 figure businesses

Not 7 but you can pull in pretty decent money with 250k especially if niche page and engagement is strong.
