Not very good books from the classical book writing perspective? Yeah, probably, but it still scratches the itch Some metal music that has big overlap with fantasy lit fans is also not very good music, simplistic riff and lyrics writing but ppl still enjoy it and its fine imo
Of course! It’s fine to enjoy anything! I also listen to a ton of uh … questionable fantasy-themed power metal and I enjoy it despite knowing that it’s terrible

haha that's what i had in mind i just try not to think into it too much. it's fun to listen to Amon Amarth while squatting but not that fun to realise it's just a musical version of LARP festival

Hah, I would have put Amon Amarth on the more serious end of questionable metal. I’m thinking more like … Blind Guardian or Dragonforce
