I hate it when you get scooped by someone 20 years ago
All math was discovered by a group of ~20 Russians between 1950 and 1988 and is slowly being released to the world as their papers are translated.

Had a C+++ guru tell me he wanted his son to take German in HS and Russian in college for this exact reason. He told me this 20 years ago. I'm a math retard but I felt smarter just knowing this.

I think that was out of date even twenty years ago. One of my college professors (theoretical physics) learned German to read th phys papers from the 1910s-1940s but that hasn’t been necessary since the 1970s.
