For context, my dad is not good at de-escalation, and had apparently said things like “just give me my wife’s flowers”, which is like, not what I had intended at all. Either way, gun, and he says lady, you won’t shoot me I’ll just walk away. I tell him to ask her to see the note.

Since the note for the flowers should have my name in it, and that would just clear everything up. She says “fine”, and gets the note...... lmao it says “happy birthday and Mother’s Day, love Owen, Anna, Beth and Sam”, which um, is not the name of anyone in my family. Oops.

So my dad shows her all my texts and tracking numbers. She pulls hers out and... same tracking number. Now my dad is /mortified/ that he just bullied some woman over flowers that weren’t even ours. She apologizes and says people should do their jobs, and it’s not his fault.

He says he’s going to go buy her flowers to apologize and she laughs and says absolutely not. So he leaves, and goes home, just checking, and flowers are not there. So I try to contact

I’ve been a pretty good customer of theirs, because who doesn’t like flowers! Seriously, probably spent 4-500$ with them. I’m polite, open the chat and explain exactly what happened. The next hour and a half is a back and forth so stupid I don’t know where to start.

I started by saying “the tracking number ending 440 is wrong. This is a massive privacy issue, because 440 has MY MOM’s address on it.” Meaning that any time those other people tracked that package? They got my moms address. And we got theirs, when it was delivered, obviously.

Girl digs around for a while and then sends me a link to the tracking number ending 440, insisting it’s right. I ask her to click it. She finally does and realizes the issue. After an HOUR AND A HALF, with no apology for the PRIVACY BIT, she offers me a replacement or refund.

Actually I’m wrong, she offered me a CREDIT. So I say fine, give me the replacement. She says she will, and they’ll be there on May 11th and ends the chat. No like, rush shipping for their fuckup, no... refund, or like, anything. No explanation.
