One thing I’m really interested re: defi and staking is the possibility to make a distributed prop shop where traders can participate in one another’s pnl with low friction and minimum trust (escrow total return swaps). I’d love to invest in other traders in 1 click

I think this would lose money fast (for investors) because the fee asymmetry on profits/losses would kill you unless the trades had absurdly high alpha. Need some way to net off profit from multiple trades and only pay perf fee on the net amount.
