The UK currently kill 2.6m cows and 10m pigs each year, so requiring nearly all of the 50m adults to slaughter an animal seems, uh, somewhat overly aggressive.
Put another way — the average person in the UK eats 60-80kg of meat per year (mostly chicken). You get 200kg of beef from a cow.
Let’s be clear — people should eat less meat. What’s funny here is the guy suggesting that to encourage people to eat less meat, we should slaughter 3-4x the number of animals that we currently do.
