I know so many people like this. So many.
I was a “gifted child” in high school. My gifts were bullying nerds and playing lacrosse — skills which I parlayed into a legacy placement at an Ivy League university and now I make $2m a year working for my father’s real estate company.

Kind amazing that the Brits can parody American culture that darn well; I really would have no clue where to even begin if trying to do the opposite

That's because contemporary America is important in the world, and the contemporary UK isn't. We are far more aware of your culture than you are of ours. In fact, much of our culture nowadays *is* yours: whereas the American view of Britain is largely historical and nostalgic.
