Why not?
Partly I’ve spent ten years learning how to make money in futures and currencies and it would take at least two years to learn to make money in options, during which time I would have to stop research on existing strategies, which would start to decay.

Mostly I spend very little time on research and trading myself now and mostly manage others, so I have neither the time nor the headspace to learn a new product. Answering Benn’s interview qns is good enough for me!

Super underappreciated skillset imo. The worst bosses I've had to date weren't bad traders.... in fact they were solid traders who didn't realize their job was now management vs trading.
