Also given the massive amount of wine forgery in the last 50 years, any tasting note you can find for very old wine is likely to be a forgery, eg 20 year old wine in a 70 year old bottle. Out of curiosity looked at Berry's, the oldest wine they are selling is 1969 https://www.bbr.com/products-19698116330-1969-hermitage-la-chapelle-paul-jaboulet-aine … There is also "historical wine", but it is "mysteriously" not super expensive.
And note BBR aren’t even selling that themselves, it’s someone holding it their storage who has listed it on their trading platform.
