It doesn’t seem totally unreasonable that a single holder buying thirty-odd percent of float would have an effect on price? It does seem now those positions have been liquidated that the demand-supply balance has changed dramatically

it does have an affect on price - but does not force ETFs to "rebalance" by buying more because of market cap weighting - which is a common myth the article is regurgitating
