What about wine advice? California vs. French Pinot Noir? Sea Smoke/Merry Edwards vs. something like Louis Latour Grand Cru. Preference?

I am unable to comment since I do not drink wine from "Ammerica" on principle.

Lest you think this is a 'bit' (the 1% of bottles from USA are ones that I ordered in the last week and have yet to arrive) --pic.twitter.com/aLLjCMoEqH

No wrong answer, palates are personal. I don’t think I’ve had wine from Lebanon before. Anything you’d recommend?

Musar is the most well known (go for 1991, 1998, 1999 or 2003) but Massaya Gold Reserve and Kefraya 'Comte de M' are also very good, and all decently priced.

I am, hopefully obviously, joking about US wine. I'm sure there are lots of great ones. I just haven't drunk many of them.
