      One unexpected upside of the culture war is that it makes kids more eager to learn. Kids love forbidden knowledge, and this has been growing rapidly as more ideas get banned.

      The three laws of behavioral genetics rest on as concrete a statistical base as you will find, but a serious discussion of its implications would be blasphemy to most educated, western individuals.

      I said implications. Genes matter, a lot. The environment that is difficult to control or identify matters, a lot. Your family life matters little, if at all (excluding trauma, which has a large effect). Western, middle class ind. sort these effects the inverse of obj reality.

          Absolutely. For example, religion previously occupied a large space in social discourse while employing relatively few people. The actions of the church had reverberations throughout all of society and culture.
