They're not dumb because they got it wrong. They're dumb because they were so confident in those mistaken predictions.
That doesn’t negate the survivorship/look-ahead bias! You picked the most successful company from this era, and likely the worst TV segment you could find. If an analyst presented something like this to me I would rightly castigate it. You should have even higher standards!
