Yup, with increasing vaccine rollout rate (until recently) the jabs are heavily backloaded, plus many of the people who received a vaccine already were not going out anyway -- drop almost entirely due to restaurants/retail/schools being closed.

But the drop of hospitalisations can be linked to the vaccine though (same in Israel if I'm not mistaken). France in that regard still has massive hospitalisations levels while cases are steady but not explodingpic.twitter.com/kwHJl4XY7E

yup fair point. I hadn't realised UK hospitalisations had fallen off so much. I guess much of this is a function of early vaccination of the most hospitalised group (80+)

Yup. Secondary schools only though. My son having his third test in less than 3 weeks today. No tests for my daughter
