I hear ya dude, but at the end of the day their job is to “add liquidity” & “be competitive” for clients.
So go ahead and add the competitive liquidity for me Mr market maker ! (Bane voice) 
I’ve been in the mkt maker seat for CDS and this kind of sh*t is a disaster to trade unless there is two way flow. Mkt makers don’t want to wear the risk on illiquid short vol positions when mkt choppy...it’s a good way to blow up your year
