Theoretical question: why are so many quants so bad at basic stats notions? Do we need a mandatory Statistics 101 course as well as mental arithmetic /order of magnitude checks training?
You definitely have a point, though in this case it’s a couple of guys selling “stock market signals” on a website, I think calling them quants is very generous!
