Many people are assuming I’m French, which I assure you I am not, but I will always admire that great country of extremes, which produces the finest wines and cheeses known to man and the absolute worst derivatives traders.

I am a French derivatives trader so obviously biaised... But half exotic desks of CIBs are French from école polytechnique or DEA el karoui, that is probably why we are over represented in the outliers you mentioned. BTW not a lot of French in LTCM or Bearings ?pic.twitter.com/Mx5hEMFVhf
