Ha, well I've met some good ones too. Have to say, anecdotally, it feels like there are 3x as many derivatives traders per capita from France than Germany, Italy, or elsewhere. At least in London anyway. Maybe a Sorbonne thing, dunno.

Its function of the fact - the French are obssessed with maths - they are good at it - which means they end up becoming derivatives traders/salespeople...etc
