The cynic in me wants to say that it doesn’t matter, all they need is for the stock to go up before they sell it. But I expect the right answer is “they don’t really know what they are doing.”

Time will tell if the greater fool theory scales well with AUM as nicely as buying into strength scaled well with AUM. My guess: it doesn’t.
